Claudia Castellanos is the Founder & CEO of Connected World Translation, the only translation company based and operated in Saskatchewan actively offering services in more than 40 languages. With 19 years of experience as a translator and hundreds of multilingual translation projects successfully completed under her direction in numerous fields, Claudia has been a key player for Canadian companies, organizations, and academic institutions aiming to enter international markets in countries such as China, Vietnam, Kuwait, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, among others. Connected World Translation was proud receive the 2019 Business Excellence Award for translators and interpreters and was recognized in 2020 as an Invaluable Service Provider by the International Office at the University of Regina. Prior to forming the company in 2013, Claudia was a freelance translator and lecturer in Spanish language at the Faculty of Arts, University of Regina. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and a Master of Education Degree from the University of Regina. Connected World Translation prides itself on teaming up with more than 50 highly qualified professional translators including linguists, academics and certified translators from organizations that operate under the national body of the Canadian Translators, Terminologists, and Interpreters Council (CTTIC). Claudia has been able to build an agency that delivers diverse types of translations including technical, legal, administrative, medical, financial, website, scripts, multimedia, as well as assisting law firms with their translation requirements. One of Claudia’s main objectives is to continue supporting the ever-growing linguistically diverse community in Saskatchewan with their personal translation needs, especially for citizenship and other legal and government procedures
